FIRST PICTURE: New York multimedia artist Wes Bruce works alongside King Kamehameha III Elementary School third-grade student Mila Robalinho during Tuesday’s session of the Young Artists Summer Program at the International Gallery Schaefer from the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Bruce is one of the artists featured in the gallery’s current exhibition, Paper Water Wind. Bruce is a guest artist in residence at Schaefer for the month and can often be found during the gallery’s working and creative hours. The exhibition is scheduled for August 20. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
